# A fair decision should not take months.

Use People’s Court to get a binding decision on a contract dispute without going to court. Both sides file in writing, an AI Tribunal issues a signed Award in days, and the fee is 5.67% of the amount in dispute: $283.50 on a $5,000 claim, against an estimated $10,100 for traditional arbitration. No clause yet? Send a submission agreement and file.

## Choose who decides.

AI-only is the default. A case uses AI-assisted human only if every party chooses it. Within AI-only, the amount and relief set the procedure: an eligible money claim under $100 goes to one AI arbiter, and every other case to a panel of three. Each party sees that procedure in the case-opening terms before accepting them. In the human route, an arbitrator reviews the Record and issues the Award in their own name. Every track offers a paid human appeal unless both parties expressly waive it.

## FAQ

Read all answers

### Are Awards binding?

Yes. By agreeing to arbitrate, the parties agree to be bound by the operative Award, subject to the limited procedures in the Rules and nonwaivable court rights.

### Does the other side have to agree?

Both sides accept the case, in a clause or in a submission agreement after the dispute arises. No earlier clause is required.

### Does a human decide the Award?

In AI-only cases, the assigned AI arbiter or panel decides and serves the Award, except for a question referred to a human Arbitrator under the Rules. In AI-assisted human cases, an assigned human Arbitrator decides and signs the Award, assisted by an AI draft. Both routes retain one paid human appeal unless every party separately accepts the appeal waiver.

### What is a Quick Ruling?

A Quick Ruling is a nonbinding AI opinion for an everyday disagreement. The requester pays $5.67 and invites the other side; replying is free; the other side pays $5.67 to view the same result. It is not arbitration or an Award and cannot be converted into a binding case.
